Army: 13 dead, 31 wounded in Fort Hood, Texas

The world was shocked by this tragic event on Thursday, Nov 6. The U.S. Military base said they have one suspect named Hasan. He shot more than 100 rounds at the soldiers that were there. Lt. Gen. Cone said, “It’s a terrible tragedy.”

I think it’s more than a tragedy. It was shocking to me because I can’t believe that it happened here at the base.

President Barack Obama said, “A horrific outburst of violence, it’s a tragedy to lose a soldier overseas and even more horrifying when they come under fire at an army base on American soil.”

The officials say that the Fort Hood shooting suspect reached out to communicate with a radical Iman overseas who came under scrutiny in the past for possible links to a terror group.

It’s a good thing to save all your change.

I asked my friends and family whether it’s important to save your change and half thought you should save your change and the other half thought you shouldn’t. The thing they don’t know is that saving pennies, nickels, and dimes can make you over 90 dollars.

How you say? Save 50 cents everyday for six months. Stop going to the store everyday after school to buy juice, Now and Laters, and a bag of chips so you can save your 50 cents and put it in your little can.

Do this and I bet you can make 90 dollars.
